I read copper cleans up nicely on cook pots if you set them in potato water after you cook potatoes. Wondering if this would work for brass. My brass has green corrosion on the decorative roses on the lid and hinge.
I have a brass necklace with a Cross that I want to shine
My used to clean her copper clad cooking pan with vinegar and salt. Wet the copper part of the pan with the vinegar sprinkle on a fair amount of salt rub it around till bright and rents off. Nice and copper bright!!👍😃
You did not describe the solution or recipe that should be used, ie.how much white vinegar, lemon juice or baking soda should be used and how mixed and applied to bras jewelry. At least using the Brasso, I believe will come with instructions. Or is that the intent? Buy Brasso and forfeit the home remedy….
